What: Mayor’s Car Free Challenge Learning Fair
When: Sunday, October 30th – 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: River Market Pavilion

Mayor Mark Stodola is challenging Little Rock residents to a car-free week. Those who take the challenge will walk, bike or ride the bus November 5th through the 11th.

“Its good for your health and your budget,” said Mayor Stodola. “This challenge is part of my effort to support sustainable practices and encourage more physical activity.”

A Pre-Challenge Learning Fair will be held at the River Market on Sunday, October 30th from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be tips for walkers, cyclists and bus riders as well as entertainment. Also, bike and bus routing information will be available and a bus with bike rack will be present to allow cyclists to practice putting their bikes on and off a bus.
