LITTLE ROCK FIRE CHIEF PUBLIC RECEPTION SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

(Little Rock – March 23, 2009) Little Rock City Manager Bruce T. Moore today announced the schedule of the public receptions and interviews for the four finalists to be the next Little Rock Fire Chief.
As a component of the interview process, the public is invited to attend a public reception to meet the candidates. Each reception will take place from 5:30pm to 7:00 pm at Curran Hall, 615 East Capital Avenue.
The schedule for these public receptions is:

*Monday, March 30 – Don Kinney, Assistant Chief, Little Rock Fire Department

* Thursday, April 2 – Greg Summers, Interim Chief, Little Rock Fire Department

* Monday, April 6 – Jerry Brooks, Deputy Chief, Fort Worth Fire Department

* Thursday, April 9 – Gary Ludwig, Deputy Chief, Memphis Fire Services

The new Fire Chief will succeed Rhoda Mae Kerr, who took office as the new Austin, Texas, Fire Chief in January.
