LR Wastewater Announces 2nd Public Hearing for Impact Fee Study

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

(April 9, 2008 - Little Rock) Little Rock Wastewater will host a second public meeting on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the Clearwater Maintenance facility located at 5300 South Shackelford Rd. to allow for a volunteer Rate Advisory Committee facilitated by Paul Vitale of Vital Communications, Inc. to study and comment on the direction and outcome of the Impact Fee Study Little Rock Wastewater (LRW) is currently undertaking.

Little Rock Wastewater (LRW) has retained the professional services of Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. (RFC) of Kansas City, Missouri to prepare a review and update of LRW’s ancillary charges, to conduct a feasibility study of alternative system growth charges (Impact Fee), analyze LRW’s cost of wastewater collection, treatment and disposal services, recommend adjustments to our wastewater rate structure and valuation study of LRW’s property, plant and equipment.

Any interested persons may attend the public meeting at 6:30 pm on April 17, 2008 located at the LRW Clearwater Maintenance Facility on 5300 South Shackelford Rd.
