GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY
If you are charged with a violation or multiple violations that do not require a Mandatory Court Appearance and you wish to plead guilty, you have several options to satisfy the violation(s). These options are listed throughout this web site.
If you wish to plead not guilty to your violation(s), you must either appear in court on the date listed on your ticket or go to the Traffic Court Clerk’s office on or before your court date to receive a trial date. Offenses that are more serious could result in jail time. If this is the case, and you do not have a lawyer, a public defender will be appointed to represent you.
