The Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission was created by Arkansas Code Annotated and Little Rock City Code 17-100 (Realignment Ordinance 16-4880-9/7/93). Each of the Commission's seven (7) members serve four (4)- year terms. The duties of the Commission are to oversee the operations of the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, which includes Robinson Center, Statehouse Convention Center, University Conference Center and the Municipal Parking Garage. Members are appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors and consist of the Mayor or his or her appointee, two (2) members from the Little Rock City Board of Directors and four (4) members who are owners of hotels, motels or restaurants.
The Advertising and Promotion Commission meets the Fourth Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM in the Robinson Center Conference Room.
