MacArthur Military History Museum Commission

The MacArthur Military History Museum Commission was created by Ordinance No. 16,800. Each of the Commission's twenty-three (23) members serve two (2)-year terms.  The duties of the Commission are to develop a mission statement for the museum, to annually review the needs of programs that enhance awareness of the military history of the City and State and to initiate, sponsor or conduct with other public/private agencies, public awareness programs to further the consciousness of the City's and State's military heritage.  Members are appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors. The Commission must always include at least two (2) military veterans on active duty, honorably discharged or retired from the service.

The commission meets the second Thursday of odd-numbered months at 4:00 PM in the Arsenal Building in MacArthur Park at 503 East 9th Street.
