The Central Arkansas Transit Authority Board of Directors was created by Arkansas Code Annotated 14-334-107 (See Resolutions 7567 & 7627). Its thirteen (13) members serve four (4)-year terms. (See first amendment to Interlocal Agreement 7-31-90) WF-909-A. The duties of the board are to manage and control the Central Arkansas Transit Authority, its property, operation, business and affairs. Members are appointed by participating governmental entities as follows: five (5) members selected by the Little Rock City Board of Directors, three (3) members selected by the North Little Rock Mayor, two (2) members selected by the Pulaski County Judge, one (1) member selected from the Cammack Village Mayor, Maumelle Board of Directors and the Sherwood Mayor.
The Central Arkansas Transit Authority Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of each month at noon in the Central Arkansas Transit Authority Board Room, 901 Maple Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
